to all acoustic musical instruments, i.e. Stringed, Woodwind and Brass instruments. This includes straightforward repairs to the wiring, pots. and pickups of Electric Guitars but not to Amplifiers and Electronic Keyboards. We also undertake the Rehairing of Bows.

Our normal procedure is to: a/ Take in the instrument, note your contact details and give you a receipt. If you need a quotation, then we ask for a £10 service charge, which will be credited against the final cost if you accept the quotation. b/ Take the instrument to the specialist repairer for his diagnosis of the problem. This is often different from that of the Player/Teacher. In our experience the repairer is normally right. c/ If a quotation is needed, the repairer gives his price, which we pass onto the customer. d/ If the customer accepts the quotation, the repairer is then advised to proceed. If the quotation is not accepted, the instrument will be returned the following week.
